2-TIMES · Art
Amalia Ulman,
Reputation
@ New Galerie
—

Can a feral
pigeon become
a white dove?
Is the artist
a girl, a woman,
a mother or
a whore?
Are we being
watched by the
paperclip or are
we the paperclip?”

Curated by:
Independent
Paris-based duo
Pierre-Alexandre
Mateos & Charles
Teyssou.

The exhibition:

Is Argentinian-born
Ulman's first solo
in Paris, for which
the artist has
transformed each
of the gallery's
rooms into separate
but related installations,
to loosely resemble
a diffracted mirror
of her downtown
Los-Angeles life –
together with her
adopted pigeon /
alter ego, Bob.

Other objects
& items:
· Pigeon spikes
· Hermetic symbols
· Deflated balloons
· Juggling balls
