pulse and vibrate.

and of brittle pine 
suffused the island. 
Inside, she was singing
and weaving with a
shuttle made of gold.
Her voice was beautiful.
Around the cave
a luscious forest 
flourished: alder,
poplar, and scented
cypress.”
