photography
produced by the
artist during a
summer stay at
the eastern end
of Long Island,
New York.

uncanny,
nostalgic and

The idea:
"A melancholic
expression of
the end of
summer malaise".
On Shelter Island,
Ethridge returns
to the American
Kit house his
family rented for
the summer –
discovering a
range of discarded
and stored away
possessions from
the homeowner
and their children,
who have grown
up and moved out.

in water and an
image of Pamela
Anderson eating
grapes.
