and musician, Sandra
Mujinga, whose latest
series, inspired
by ‘green screen’
technology, highlights
the conflicting nature
of visibility, which,
whilst serving as
an ever-expansive
platform for promoting
diversity & difference,
simultaneously increases
unwanted surveillance
and data collection.
“For the artist, it is
no longer a choice,
for our collective
survival as humans,
we must decentralise
and deprioritise our
needs and understand
ourselves as equals
to the animals and
the aliens.”
