Martha Brown.
Having recently
performed live for
the launch of i-D Vice
Australia & NZ –
Banoffee's recipe of
new wave R'n'B,
meshed with gliding
synths and the most
delicately striking
vocals – teamed
with her truly one
of a kind self assured
and fanciful demeanour
– undeniably captured
2-Times' creative
sensibilities for more
reasons than one.
Banoffee's first
mix for 2-Times
opens with some
rare Nigerian
disco funk from
Doris Ebong, then
proceeds into a
careful selection of
Martha's favorites
including; Desire,
Chromatics &
Kaki King.
Banoffee will be
playing live for
the Red Bull Music
Academy stage
at Splendour In
The Grass this
July – alongside
Nicolas Jaar,
Andras Fox & her
long term collaborator
and EP co-producer,
Oscar Key Sung.
