2-TIMES · Art
Do Ho Suh,
@ Victoria Miro

I see life as a
passageway, with
no fixed beginning
or destination. We
tend to focus on
the destination
all the time and
forget about the
in-between spaces.

The exhibition:
Is the Korean-born
sculptor & installation
artist's first solo
with Victoria Miro
in London, and will
feature new fabric
sculptures conceived
especially for the
galleries, including
a walk-through
configuration of
Suh'sHubs’ series,
and a range of his
works on paper.

Suh's Passage/s
introduces a new
process, developed
during a residency
at STPI in Singapore,
in which his signature
architectural pieces
are compressed
into large-scale
2D ‘drawings’.

Suh’s one-to-one
scale translucent
fabric structures
give form to ideas
about migration,
transience and
shifting identities —
My work always
deals with the
body, with skin.

On view at:
